We're pleased to announce that our site has been named Cool Site of the Day for April 2, 2003! Welcome to our new and returning visitors.  If you like this site, be sure to vote for it at Cool Site of the Day on Wednesday, April 2.

The remaining World War II photos from my father's scrapbook collection were added throughout the site.  These additional photos relate to the history of the LCI 35 and its tour during 1943 and the latter half of 1944 including:

• D-Day - Normandy - June 6, 1944

• Post D-Day Landings on Sword, Juno, and Gold Beaches in June and July
   
• Additional landings performed during August and September, including landings on Arromanches, Port-en Bassin, Omaha and Utah beaches
   
• Final Wartime Service and the LCI 35 decomissioning in November 1944

Large images of the blueprints for the LCI(L) class are now available.

Links to related resources on the Internet were added throughout the site as well.
